Meet Gavin Gowans

I am a Life Coach , and run a variety of online services such as, Discovering Awareness, Financial Integrity and lead Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses . I have a business degree, qualified as a Psychiatric Nurse in 1985, a certificate in counselling skills (COSCA) and am a Certified Life Coach.

 Over the years I have worked with and helped people from all kinds of backgrounds and situations including drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, Alzheimers disease, and worked in health promotion.

In addition to this I have many years entrepreneurial experience in a variety of businesses and was a former property investor. I have had over thirteen years personal experience of Christian meditation as taught by Dom John Main and several years of mindfulness practice.

My intention is to help you learn to cope with stress, pain and illness, find your true purpose and live life to your true infinite potential.  I don’t offer any quick fixes or to ‘magic away’ personal difficulties. Becoming the person you are meant to be does require some effort and commitment for the changes you want to happen. I run discovery and awareness, growth and wellness services for individuals, healthcare professionals, third sector/public sector organisations and companies. Each designed to increase your own sense of well being, control and participation in life.

I combinine sets of classes in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and other courses supporting your personal growth, with individualised coaching.  Providing the opportunity to integrate group learning with one-on-one life coaching, to support successful personal lifestyle growth and achieve specific, individual intentions and outcomes.

True Purpose True Potential strives to bring you tried and tested service and products which help you deal with troublesome emotions, stress, illness, pain, personal and corporate change, family and relationship difficulties, in other words life itself.  By dealing with perceived low self-worth, it can result in raising self-efficacy and self-confidence.

You may not have serious problems right now but simply feel you want more out of life.
